LOST DOGGIES / PUBLICATION NOTES

Editorial policy

Lost Doggies aims to publish calm, usable educational information about lost-dog recovery and prevention. Articles distinguish general organizing suggestions from verifiable technical facts and from matters that require local professional judgment.

Source selection

For animal welfare and identification claims, priority goes to veterinary associations, established animal welfare organizations, and official animal services information. Official local agencies are the appropriate source for their own reporting and reclaim procedures. Secondary resources may help with a separate subject, such as wording a message, but do not establish veterinary or legal authority.

Verification in this edition

During preparation of this edition, the linked Humane World for Animals recovery article, AAHA microchipping and found-pet resources, and the AKC first-48-hours guide were opened and checked for the narrow claims attributed to them. Contextual pages on HeartfeltTexts, MessageBlessings, and BaggageBase were also inspected for subject relevance. This is a record of preparation, not a promise that destinations will remain unchanged.

Recommendations and limitations

Examples, timelines, and task divisions are organizing suggestions, not guaranteed outcomes or scientific recovery deadlines. No capture, trapping, sedation, or medical-treatment instructions are provided. Where animal handling, injury, urgent hazards, or jurisdiction-specific rules matter, the reader is directed to appropriate local assistance.

AI assistance and images

AI tools assisted with writing, design, and generating illustrative photographs for this initial package. Generated scenes do not document actual people, rescue cases, or firsthand experience. Sample messages are original writing examples. No veterinary review, rescue credentials, staff biographies, testimonials, or success statistics are invented.

Dates and updates

The publication does not add a changing year to article titles merely to imply freshness. No original publication date, professional review date, or ongoing review schedule is asserted for these guides. A future content update should identify substantive changes and recheck the affected sources. Do not treat a copyright year as a verification date.

Corrections

Use the contact page for the current editorial-channel status. A correction request should include the page URL, relevant passage, and a reliable source where available. Once a working contact route is configured, the operator should assess factual issues, amend inaccurate text, and document material corrections. No response schedule is currently promised.

Independence and linking

External links are placed in relevant content and described according to their actual purpose. The package contains no affiliate tracking or paid placements identified by the operator. If any placement is paid or materially incentivized before publication, the operator must disclose that relationship and apply appropriate sponsored link attributes. Linking does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
